This beautiful vase is a foot and a half tall wedding present for the artist's brother. I saw her throw this piece in about twenty minutes. I wasn't quite on at class last night...my wire tool got wrapped around the inside of the wheel. I made friends with the friendly boy the next wheel over when he helped me untangle the tool. He was wearing a Guns N' Roses t-shirt.
